Well its pretty sad about the pope passing. I remember being a lttle kid and watching TV with my Dad as the smoke rose and he was introduced to us all.
He was a good man.
I did not agree with him all the time.
Sinead got bum rapped for rippin up his pic.
He had Bob Dylan play a personal concert for him.
He’s got good taste ’cause bob played “Hard Rains a Gonna Fall.”
He had a great smile.
He stood his ground.
He was more liberal than most.
Lets hope he is not less liberal than his succesor.
He made me mad when he went to Africa and told the people that condoms were bad.
But the pope was truly pro life. Anti abortion. anti WAR & anti DEATH PENALTY.
Agree with his teachings or not…He lived by his beliefs. His words and his actions were one.
In an age of hypocrisy he was a breath of fresh air.
But the most powerful thing he did…And the thing I will always be inspired by was
He forgave the guy that shot him.
