This guy nailed it

Check out this column by Andrew Sullivan.
I always like reading this guy and seeing him on TV. I could not agree more with every word.

Sullivan’s a fan of fiscal sanity, lean government, and working across the aisle with one’s political rivals? Hmm. Maybe I will have to read him more, John. I’m certainly not a fan of the tax complications, business regulations, and outright wealth redistribution that could arise with either a Barack or Hillary presidency, but I also must admit that it was a GOP addiction to spending, an outright rejection of the values that won the day in 1994, that partly led to their demise.

A demise, by the way, that may not extend to the White House the longer this Dem primary season plays out. Say what you will about McCain, but he’s the only GOP candidate who could attract Democratic voters who feel alienated, and no matter who wins this thing (and especially if Hillary hijacks a brokered convention), some Dems will feel sour and cross over to the maverick.

Obama might be thinking (to paraphrase Rev. Wright) “God d*** Hillary,” but McCain’s probably blessing her brittle, corrupt little soul.
